Are you going the stock colour or is it possible to whip out something a little special? Clear coats etc?

Im thinking of going a more red, red. Mines got a bit of an orange tinge to it (not stock). Id like something like the red off the new vw golf and probably a handfull of clear coats. I figure if im going to paint the whole car i may as well go for a colour i like. I wont be painting inside of door jams etc to keep the costs down.
Re:Love needed (jdmr288)

Hey Matt, I may be interested in this also. It had "Midnight Racing" on both doors and the passenger headlight. Well, he decided to remove the badges, which ruined the paint in those sections. Also a ding or two on the bonnet. I dont know whether it is cheaper to repaint the car, or replace the doors and headlight, maybe bonnet :)

Id upload pics, but the upload kept failing.

Im only around the corner near brookewater. If you want ill introduce you to my mate and we can see what he'll charge to fix it up.
Re:Love needed (nightram)

Sounds interesting, im at springfield lakes.

My car was previously owned by a "racer". Then ill be getting it reprayed the same basic colour (red). As i said, mates rates but its a diy garage so pretty much for the price of the paint and small fee to hire the spray booth anyone could come out n paint their car with a professional assisting where needed. The whole workshop is the same way, i reckon its a brilliant idea.

Sorry to hijack thread.
Re:Love needed (5SGTE)

im in brissy too n need a respray... any pics of this fellas work cause thats crazy silly wacky cheap.
Re:Love needed (purple5ive)

/\ would you mind telling me whats actually getting done by your mate in detail
just curious as thats a good price. obviously mates rates aside.
cheers
Re:Love needed (matt234)

where are you located? im getting mine sprayed soon by a mate who owns a shop in bris.
