You will have to come on another QLD run some time soon.
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (stuka)

love that paint job, very unique and really enhances the shape of the SW20!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Shamanova)

Thanks guys - I actually have a few photos and things to add about little things I have recently done that'll I'll post sometime. I am starting to think about raising the boost from 12psi on the stock ecu but not knowing the history of the fuel pump I don't know if it would be the best idea ever. I guess my next mods would be fuel pump and injectors but then things start getting expensive so maybe 12psi will suffice.. I still think the Mr2 is better looking than the 86 as well!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (robk)

Looks great!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Mrskylighter)

Just read through the whole thread for the first time. Amazing transformation!
Looks perfect.
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (MIDN1T3)

That is one very clean schmick looking mr2 right there...very nice mate. The wheels suit the car colour well too!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Shamanova)

I have been slowly working down the list of things I need/want to fix and also just appreciating having a fun reliable little car. I have been eyeing off a white 86 GT since they were released and I think I will get one in the coming year or two; but not yet.

Anyway I had my camera on me today and took a few pictures. I recently purchased a house so I might try to offload a few goodies I've had stowed away for a time...

Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Domma_aw11)

thats the TICKET!!!! looks amazing!!!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (chase_d)

Wow.

The whole thing (lip, skirts, rear add-on, and rear spoiler- and now the wheels) suit it so perfectly!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Shamanova)

Yep got the tyres put on this morning here we go:

I do like them - I'm going to try to dodgy up some centre caps for them sometime too. I have pretty much completed my list of things to do now actually. Just a handful of mechanical and electrical repairs remaining. Hopefully it will stay as reliable as it has been for years to come.
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (bigh)

do you have a pic with the KAIs on front and back. HOT rims dude. Really like them!

Re guard rolling -grab a guard roller off ebay and a cheap XU1 heat gun from bunnings, roll your guards and resell the roller (or hold onto it) and offer to do other's guards.

Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (chase_d)

Wheels are a massive improvement!

Even though I do like the Equips they made the car look very dated, new ones suit it perfectly.
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (artymr2)

Looks great!
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Shamanova)

Yep I have been hoarding for the past six months they are 17 x 8 +32 17 x 9 +38 CR Kai's - I really like the look of them. I also got some Ray's wheel nuts for cheap to replace the ones I bought off Ebay (they were very dodgy). Additionally I replaced the Aeroware lip with a US Racing one from Gorilla Industries as It was in a bad way..

I do have a 'Combat Spoiler' in my cupboard actually, I just love the subtle look of the Duckbill :). As to the exhaust - I do sort of agree however, it was free so can't really go wrong with that.

Thanks for the positive words about the wheels - I think in person it looks very aggressive now (especially still with the 16's on the front for that double stagger stance). So rears are a 235/45/17 - I have had various set ups before but I wanted a higher profile tyre. Unfortunately they do rub on my unrolled guards as I noticed when I hit a large bump I need to decide whether to live with it or try to find a local guard roller. I'll likely do the latter.
Re:90 ADM with 92 3SGTE (Dudeman)

Thats an awesome effort, looking at how you got it and how it is now.

I was never a fan of the duckbill but it does look pretty cool on your car. Wheels look better too.

FTW! (Which I only recently worked out what it meant - I thought it was F* the world!)
