thanks man. got another few vids from latest event. had a ball in the wet in the loose thing. our gear ratios did not suit the track. but had great fun. best hillclimb EVER !

^^ hillclimb results. car felt much faster. but track was slow. and there was a crash early in the day so i missed a run and there was oil/coolant on the top (fastest) corner. so the day wasnt all that fast. i won my class (class A) so always happy with that :P

Once we get our new tyres should be much better. we were running borrowed Dunlops on the back and Toyo R1R on the front for the hillclimb. we are just tuning susspension set ups atm. will try post a in car vid of hill climb soon. quality may be dodgey tho.

How did Highclere go?

Big discrepancy with the dyno numers, where did you get the 125kw compared to the 104kw and was it back to back all else being equal? Either way you have done a great job with that motor. Good to hear the car drives better irrespective of the dyno numbers though. 66 around Symmons Plains would be mightily impressive, you would break the minute around Baskerville at that pace??

update: depending on which dyno we go too. car made good power. 104kw - 125kw (on dyno in hobart tho) but engine pulls extremely strong now. had some issues with exhaust manifold. but we have all that sorted now. power is strong and comes on earlier then before. just fine tuning suspension set ups. we had an issue with the rear tie rods. one bent like a banana and caused uncontrollable over steer which was fun. have twosrus rear tie rods now tho. we have advan a048s on the way (Big thanks to Tyres with Nowelly in Hobart). we race tomorrow at highclere hillclimb which has been consistently our best event but we are just sorting out some tyres to run on. aiming to further break the record we already hold.
Symmons Plains testing was up and down. bad tyres and wheel alignment set up restricted us, but we are confident we can get into the mid 66.

things are coming along ahead of schedule. coils are on and wired. dont have a tacho atm tho :P
i have new exhaust system all ceramic coated. which is sitting on my kitchen bench at the moment. which goes on tomorrow. then i am going to twiddle with the cam timing a little bit. friday gets a wheel alignment and hopefully put on the scales. then straight after that over to get airbox made.
then its off for a re-tune. then track testing early September. will upload a vid of track testing. still need better brakes and some better rubber.
did away with our dodgey hydraulic handbrake. and replaced 1way valve. and relocated much closer to the engine.

Update. Exhaust system done. It is over at jet hot getting ceramic coated. Part 1. Of cold air intake is done. Airbox to come.
Now running coil over plug set up. Aiming to get haltech racepak display dash soon. Hoping to secure help from Leo at indist who is now the toda go to guy. Will keep this updated. Running at symmons september 9th for practise. Will have vid of that. And will post up events that we run in on events page.
