Extremely impressed with GL rallysport, ordered at 4:30pm yesterday, arrived at my work in the CBD before.

Depending on what brake fluid you have, it might not be rated for the temperatures that are experienced on the track and can cause it to boil.

Since your in Brisbane, your could speak to Friction Material Developments. They have the A1RM series of pads that are orientated towards street performance and light track work.

They are located in Nerang if that's local enough for you to drop in and collect some suitable pads.

As for brake fluid, I personally trust Motul RPF660, it's about $30/500ml, but the stuff has never let me down in the last 5 years of track and street driving.

I've uh... been a bit of a twit and left it to the last minute so chasing a set I can pickup at Autobarn or Supercheap, are there any decent options for light track use there?

Also can I get away with just the fronts or would it be better to do both front and back at once? I know it might be a bit uneven but it seems to be my fronts fading very fast. I recently flushed my system and am currently running super dot 4

Ordered a full set of the below pads for my Adub. $119 per set. Total $238 delivered. Great guys to deal with... will definately do business with agian.

QFM lists it as NDB308 front, NDB405 rear, no idea if this is A1RM's or not.

I heard GSL Rallysport is usually the best place to buy QFM pads.

I've actually got a set of EBC redstuffs turning up today to go with my goodridge braided lines and RDA slotted & dimpled rotors. Got the EBC's from summit racing in the states.

I am using some QFM A1RM pads in my Adub with Protex rotors and Goodridge braided lines. I am setting up to get it on the track. I haven't had it on the track yet but it stops well so far. I went for the QFMs because they were reasonably priced and got good reviews from people using them on the track.
They drive fine when cold too. About the only thing against them is they are a bit dirty and will black up the wheels pretty quick but I can live with that.
I am using castrol heavy duty fluid after recommendations from a few guys I know who rally. I think fresh fluid is is probably more important than fancy fluid.

Please do update this thread with your findings. I want to replace my rotors, pads and fluid at some point and am not sure which way to go.
If I could install parts that were track day compatible that would preferred.

New to this thread stuff.
Probably need to pay more attention to the post dates.
Nevermind there is bound to be somebody obsessing over brakes somewhere.

I will update anyway after I give the new pads a workout

I run Motul RBF660 brake fluid and use cheap, Ferodo Excel pads without any issues.
8-9 lap stints at Wakefield, the cheap excels never faded once.

If I had a bit more money though, I'd be putting some DS2500's onto my AW11. Had a pair on my S13 years ago, and they were epically awesome!
