Thanks Surok, as stated I was referring to prepping the chassis before the build by removing all paint, rubber and glues use by factory from the car by bead blasting, soda blasting or acid dipping.

bead blast the chasssis before you start working on it.
it will save alot of time laster on, and it will be a much cleaner, neater finished product.

well been awhile since I have posted here or done much on the car either.Work and a young family come first. but have been out stripping some more out. front guard liners being donated to the road car as those were wrecked with the 18s that were on it. picked up some 16s fin7s for it too as it had 14s with snow tyres. Actually had a set of ultralites lined up for it but dude sold them on me after telling me they were mine and me buying tyres for them. Air con and dash are being stripped out now.

spent all day swapping HID lights from red to black . major work. had to remove front bumpers also. gave me a chance to get at little ding on front guard and push it out though.still have to run wire through car to battery, if i get a chance 2day. been taking time off work to play with cars while missus away she gets back 2day.
ABS light has come on in red now too, dont know what i have done to make this happen?

well put the red frunk on too. it looks poo poo. so it comes back off 2moro.
got the FMB on RED too easy.
started stripping some more out eg pass seat luggage comp and started to pull roll cage apart to get access to everything.
Also made up some alloy brackets for the AW number plate to allow more airflow to the front.
Feels weird pulling all this good stuff out of the car, but power to weight is my main aim especially once i start doing the carbon body.

well swapped the red engine cover onto black road car. I like it especially the red wing against the black. gunna swap the frunk now just to see what it looks like? then get the front mid brace on the track RED car.
