I have had a few issues which have needed to be sorted for ACT registration since I bought the car back at the very end of MAy 2009.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;My car came down from Queensland on the back of a transporteer which was just as well as it has split heater lines above the fuel tank and would have been a real pain to drive back as it would've constantly lost coolant and been a mennace for overheating. The seller was a bare faced liar, when I asked him face to face about any mechanical issues he said there was nothing wrong with the car. Oh well othing ventured nothing gained.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So due to QLD being quite laxed regarding registration I had to get the vehicle engineered for ACT registration that meant raising the ride, quitening the exhaust, fitting side indicators, changing the wheels and tyres, removing guages from the A-pillar, getting a weight certificate, getting an emissions certificate, fitting a heatshield to the air filter, fitting a recirculating BOV, advising of the changed engine number and finally performing a fade test on the brakes.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I finally finished doing all of those things and got the vehicle registered in November this year, for the preceding 16 months the MR2 was unregistered and had to be driven everywhere on day permits.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Anyway so now It's registerd I'm going to be enhancing the car to better suit my vision and to that end I've stockpiled all these parts I want to fit:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Fujitsubo Legalis R (With Metal Cat) for the Road and Super Motoria for the track.&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/2010126181557_P1020066.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;KW Variant 3's and end links will replace the Tiens which'll then go up for sale.&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/2010126181735_P1020049.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Defi Water temp gauge and sensor which will be fitted to polished coolant distribution block&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/201012618193_P1020058.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Turbo Heat Shield&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/2010126182045_P1020063.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Cam Belt Cover&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/2010126182121_P1020064.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Clear Front and Side Indicators&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/2010126182157_P1020065.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I'll also be looking the upgrade in the future: Kinokuni oil filter relocation and cooler kit; fuel system - to include a swirl pot, big pump and 850 to 1000cc injectors and then a retune on E85 to about 250 RWKW; wheels to some 17&amp;quot; Grams Light 57pro's; Samco silicone coolant hose kit; custom oil catch can; customised cam cover; custom air seperation tank in the frunk; and maybe a skyline 4 pot brake upgrade with LS400 rotors depending on how hard it is to stop.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ongoing issues I'm looking for parts to resolve are: cracked and leaking (now bypassed) heater lines; no front guard liners; a little brace at the bottom passenger side of the engine bay&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.mr2australia.com/uploaded/Bayside_MR2/2010126184524_Picture124.JPG" /&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Big thanks go to everyone who's provided support and advice and parts over the past year and a bit.</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/16004</link><pubDate>Sat, 12 Jun 2010 18:48:00 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>RE: 94 Widebody GT-S (New Piping 31/8) (dasic1)</title><description>I chose the free option and had it welded, been done for about 3 years  with no problem</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/16003</link><pubDate>Fri, 09 Oct 2009 08:21:18 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>RE: 94 Widebody GT-S (New Piping 31/8) (kameleon)</title><description>its a very common fault. you can either have it welded up or replace the pipe itself. i chose to replace my pipe with a new item.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;other people i have seen have fitted a entire length of heater hose instead. i find this a dodgy way of doing it. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;either way make sure you place a piece of rubber between the heater pipe and the body of the car at that mounting point if you choose to have it welded/brazed. the new item has a rubber mount anyway.</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/16002</link><pubDate>Wed, 09 Sep 2009 22:54:50 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>RE: 94 Widebody GT-S (New Piping 31/8) (Bayside_MR2)</title><description>Confirmed today that it is the heater pipe which is leaking, at the mounting point... You guys are genius' but you probably already knew that. Is it best order this part from toyota? or does the aftermarket have a better priced option?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also had the car tuned today for emissions and just to check that everything was ok with the tune. The car was running safe but massively rich which has hopefully been rectified. It's days are numbered, and some of you will be jealous. I have free occassional access to my very own four point hoist, so it'll be drop the fuel tank and then cop that hoses.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;From researching this problem I believe these are reasonably common.
