I’ll be dropping the engine and fuel tank and sending the chassis up get the interior and paintwork sorted in the next day or 2.

I’ll use that opportunity to get some decent photos.

I’m the meantime here’s a snap after rolling it out this morning (so I could do some actual work to pay for it all.)

I’ll get the engine on a stand and take some snaps later also

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Here we go again - Rossymond’s SW20 (Fast Eddie)

Welcome
Re: Here we go again - Rossymond’s SW20 (Falcon)

Welcome to the forum Ross. We moved to Australia for a fresh start and well here we are.

10 odd years later, 3 kids and a lot patience I saw a blue mr2 on Facebook in a bit of a sorry state and instantly I messaged the owner and organised to view it.

With a seized engine but a spare forged motor from WTF and a bunch of spares, I’ve taken the plunge and as I type this I’m prepping to collect it.

I’m lucky to own a mechanical shop and a detailing and protection studio in Brisbane and I guess here begins my journey (again).

The goals are 400whp, as stock as possible to look at (except wheels and the essentials), as original as practical and mint.

Paintwork and interior will be repairs and perfected by my team and then treated to a full body PPF kit, with the goal to keep this one forever (or until a white tbar rev5 turbo comes up 🤷🤣)

Look forward to chatting with you all, using a forum feels very 00’s again!

Ross

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
