appreciate the offer but they dont have the one i need,will keep looking im in no hurry. ive helped hundreds over the years only list on gumtree not fb or other similar platforms,was on there many moons ago but found it full of timewasters and useless commentary from the peanut gallery

No worries. I imagine they would do shipping being an ebay vendor, but if they dont, I'm less than an hour's drive from there so I could probably pick it up & send it on for you if it turns out to be the right part.

I'm not a fan of FB either but I did start an account recently because there is an active buying & selling parts group for MR2s on there. Has already helped me out a couple of times.

thanks mate ive seen the UAE one,would prefer to keep the money in Australia tho and as for the second one im still waiting for them to send me a picture of the actual ECU but i have a feeling they dont have one looking at the other listings they have for sw20

Also found an 89661-17540 on ebay, this one is cheaper & in SA. It lists that part number as a 1ZZ-FE ecu though which I imagine would be significantly different. Also, the listing has a photo of an antenna relay, kinda strange.

89661-17480

89661-17540

also need a throttle body with tps
