I would 3rd Matcraft, I’m lucky that I am in WA and was able to go into their factory to order.
I have had mine for about 15 years and they still look great

2nd Matcraft. I have had mine 9 years. Great fit. I would definitely buy again from them and get the MR2 logo stitched next time. I hope the quality has remained the same after all these years.

You can get floor mats made locally in WA from MatCraft. They're good quality (I've had mine over 5 years and they're holding up well) and the MR2 logo can be stitched in the colour of your choice...

Eric, All I am saying is different to what you are saying, hence why I said. Eric - their parts dont meet Australian laws. Tony - their parts (cosmetic or otherwise) generally dont live up to the descriptions, but they are trying.

I'm 100% with Eric on that one.

Cosmetic parts, and even many performance parts it's all a question of preference.

But when it comes to Steering, Breaking, and Safety, it's OEM or its certified.

All I'm saying is buyer beware when it comes to safety items. No certification = no purchase in my mind.

Who cares if your shift surround breaks. A seatbelt is a different story

Mr2 Heaven are not liked by many vendors, reputation as the home guys who give it a go, and end quality is usually a little off Oem, perfection, what you might think you are buying.
I have bought their reproduction gear shift and the finish is not as good as their images. Their response to complaints is they are individually hand finished so variants to finish is part of it. I would not have bought if they showed the end product I received (done my money, as cost of shipping back and cost of shipping here is counterproductive to getting the item price refunded).
Other publicised fails of recent years was the initial carbon fibre intercooler pipes that fell apart (said to be corrected in a changed manufacturing / design), trims that didn't fit well (possibly install or product), and all sorts of near or complete misses of product. With all that said, they made reproduction clam shells for steering wheel and buyers seemed to be very happy.
They develop their own parts and sell others home made parts from other enthusiasts through their website.
Mr2 Heaven has been relatively good in fixing / replacing major issue items to local (USA) buyers.
They sell a lot of products with many happy customers, and many customers of past that feel ripped off, kinda like Racer-x customers. I think it's great what they do for the community, as there is no other companies giving it a go for a small target market.

I would use caution buying their seat belts. They were unable to prove any certification or manufacturing standards to me.

Personal preference, but I wouldn't use an unknown quality seat belt.

They have been coming out with rhd floor mats next month for over a year.
You sound new to this, parts from overseas is costly. If you decide on multiple vendors in the USA, you can use a service like myus, some situations it works out saving but do your math (online calculators first).

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this - I'm keen to place an order with MR2 Heaven but their shipping to aus is pretty obscene.. anyone else want to get in on a group buy to save on shipping? Looking at a pair of floor mats and a bunch of random plastic pieces to breathe some life into my 2 :)
