Measure the hole spacing, punch out the holes with a leather punch and test fit to car.
Buy some 5 mm thick x 90 mm wide mild steel strip from a place that sells steel cut to size. A 600 mm long piece should be enough to make both brackets, cut out with an angle grinder.
But care would be needed to get the bend angles right. (Large vice and heavy hammer needed)
Probably need 5 mm longer bolts to mount.

Re: Best Place to Buy Swaybar Reinforcement Plates (JME)

karhunta
These ones ?
https://mr2heaven.com/pro...r-reinforcement-plates

Yes, those ones. MR2 Heaven have some great stuff but shipping is really expensive :(

Re: Best Place to Buy Swaybar Reinforcement Plates (karhunta)

These ones ?
https://mr2heaven.com/pro...r-reinforcement-plates

Re: Best Place to Buy Swaybar Reinforcement Plates (Guest)

Delta V no longer makes - last I heard.
Overseas suppliers is where you will need to look unless someone has some sitting in their garage. If buying from overseas see what else you need because shipping is most of the cost.

Best Place to Buy Swaybar Reinforcement Plates (JME)

I'm doing a heap of work on the suspension of my Rev 1 SW20. It's getting coilovers, brake lines and bushes this weekend. I've also got front and rear swaybars but I don't want to fit them until I've got some swaybar reinforcement plates. Does anyone know of a place in Aus to buy the plates? If not, where is the best place to order them from?
