We've decided on a great lunch location. The Lakes and Ocean Hotel. Follow the link for pictures of the venue and menu's for lunch. We've booked for 10 at 1:30 pm.

Also for those coming from Sydney, there will be no committee member present to have a sign on sheet or direct the cruise to move on so please adhere to the schedule and we'll meet you in Newcastle.

Hi All,

The MR2 Club is heading north to check out the road hill climb course at Buladehlah then off to Forster for lunch before running down the lakes way for a picturesque run home. The Buladehlah hill climb course was organised by the Myall Lakes Motorsport Club and run bi-annually in March and September. The course clerk has gone on record to say the road is "notorious for being tight, twisty and very dangerous" having said that it's a great road to drive well worth it if you haven't driven it previously. You can follow the videos and event for the hill climb on Facebook if you wanted to take a sneak peak. Lunch is yet to be determined but members will be notified via the forum and facebook once a location in Forster has been selected.

Sydney members will meet up prior and then rendezvous with Newcastle members closer to Newcastle.

The club is entirely run by volunteers. Membership fees help the club cover CAMS "Sporting Car Club" affiliation and insurance as well as website maintenance.
The fees are used by the club entirely for the benefit of the members.
