I cant find the sensor for the aftermarket gauge either.
Theres no top radiator hose unit or extra plug in the water neck for it

Are there any other possible spots on the block it could be pluged in?

Thanks

Sent from my CPH1725 using Tapatalk

Re: Aftermarket water temp gauge not working (maccardo94)

Fully understand. My mates rx8 turbo gave him 3 seconds before his engine blew.
Ive never had heat problems yet,but its a must to keep an eye on exact temp readings. Having the gauge down until i sort it shouldnt screw with the system should it?

Sent from my CPH1725 using Tapatalk

Re: Aftermarket water temp gauge not working (Falcon)

Just be aware that the OEM temp gauge is totally useless to detect an overheat condition.
It will sit about it's middle normal position while the actual coolant temp will climb to high hell. 110 degrees +.
Aftermarket water temp gauge not working (maccardo94)

Hi everyone(gen 3 3sgte sw20)

My aftermarket water temp gauge has stopped working. But my main oem cluster one is fine i checked both ecu and gauge sensor plugs in the engine bay and back plug of aftermarket gauge and the gauge lights work. But as stated my oem is working. I didnt install the aftermarket gauge so does anyone know where the aftermarket one would get wired into in the engine bay?
Im not woried about overheating issues but its just a bugger
Hope all makes sense!

Thanks

Sent from my CPH1725 using Tapatalk
