So many pics to choose from.

It was a fantastic few days in Canberra. Anthony & Pablo chose some great roads & places to visit on the Saturday. Altho I wasn't feeling great & offered the drive to Eddie who didn't have his MR2, so playing passenger in my own car was fun. (He gave her a bit more speed around the twisty bits than I do, lol). The weather was kind to us, altho the clouds & threat of rain kept the T-tops on.
The BBQ lunch at Cotter dam was great, thanks to Remi & Susan. We were all able to park together & received some interest from other people gathered for lunch. I guess it was like a bit of show & shine without the judging & voting. People were taking pics & then waving as we were leaving. The Tidbinbilla tracking station was interesting & again the cars looks great all parked together.
Sunday's show & shine location was an easy walk to both New & Old Parliament houses, so after looking at all the great MR2's & voting for our favourite, we were able to go check out where our Polies do their stuff.
Sunday night's dinner was another great time. The Statesman Hotel looked after us well.

The thing that surprised me about Canberra, was the lack of traffic anywhere.

It's almost here....... only 4 sleeps. We are now at 41 MR2's registered for the event & 71 people. Wow, this has exceeded our expectations. Thank you. " />

Things to remember:

Friday - Meet & greet and check-in at The Statesman from 3pm.
I'm sure some of us will be eating at the pub, so if you are later than 6.30 we will still be around
Saturday - 8.30am briefing at The Statesman for our drive.
Bring a radio if you have one.
Fold up chair if you are able to fit one in. Or picnic blanket for around our show & shine area.
Daylight saving starts on Sunday morning, so we lose that hour of sleep.
Both summer & winter clothes, lol. Never know what the weather is going to do. Daytime temp 27-30, nighttime 8-9.

We look forward to seeing all of you in Canberra.

Wow, that's shaping up to be a great weekend!!
I think at the last Nationals in Adelaide in 2017 we had something like 30 MR2's in total.
We thought that was pretty good.

Get your MR2 Nationals entries in before 25th September 11:59pm.

This is a closed event for paid entrants only. The entrants will receive show-bag with merchandises, 2 lunches catered, participate in the show'n'shine awards, and win raffle prizes at the Nationals dinner.

Hence, we will need to finalise the numbers, so we are closing the entries this week. Late entrants maybe accepted but likely it will require some negotiations.

We have 38 entrants from ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD and SA. It will be a great weekend for MR2 enthusiasts - make new friends, see old friends, enjoy your cars and enjoy the tours in and around our capital city.

Lastly. don't forget to enter MR2 Wakefield Park Challenge, which starts immediately after MR2 Nationals.

Morning Ian. Since the painting session I can't find one of my plates so I will have to get my mate inside to do another one but he recons that colour ain't in stock no more. My troubles just never end.

On a side note you will see I haven't mentioned that little three letter word that caused all the trouble there a couple of years ago. Chocolate should be OK though surely ?
