Hi All,

Time to dust off the helmet and gloves and downsize the MR2 for a Go Kart! We've been recommended the Picton site for its high speed and longer track and is surely going to be a great day out. The track boasts a top speed of 70 Km/h on the straight and 42 second lap times so there's lots of time to be made up racing next to each other. This is the first event after member registration and for our financial members the club will subsidies $10 off the total cost. There's still time to sign up prior or sign up on the day.

We would be doing the $70 arrive and drive package which includes 2 15min sessions. This is usually enough to warm the karts up and then set some flying laps in the second session. You can expect approximately 42 laps. We'll meet in Parramatta as we're driving south and its easier for members already out west.

Lunch will be decided on the day by the majority but from looking at the available options the local bowling club is close and can offer pub classic meals. As a reminder membership renewals are now due at the same low price of $25, the application form can be obtained here

The club is entirely run by volunteers. Membership fees help the club cover CAMS "Sporting Car Club" affiliation and insurance as well as website maintenance.
The fees are used by the club entirely for the benefit of the members.
