(Greysw20)

Awesome thank you. I was wondering why none of my manuals mentioned the drain hose and why my car didn’t have any to start with. I’ll get the windows resealed. Thanks again.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Rear side windows leaking. (twomr2`s)

hardtops dont have roof drains or drain hoses, only targa`s.
the butyl tape sealing the window to the body is the problem.
theres 3 nuts/studs holding the window on plus the tape to seal it,
if you have the trims off jump inside and get someone to pour water on the roof,
if you can see water coming in get a small flat blade screwdriver and try pushing the seal up into the gap between the glass and body, sometimes that can stop it,sometimes a few turns on the nut stops it too.
if its dripping the above might be enough but if its a steady stream id remove the window, clean the old seal off
and re-seal it.

Re: Rear side windows leaking. (Greysw20)

Ive found a lot of info on where the hoses go but nothing to show where they come from. I’m guessing the chassis has some sort of connection point. I’ve removed all of the trim and there’s nothing obvious.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Rear side windows leaking. (Greysw20)

Hi, I’ve just found both of my side windows are leaking (the triangle windows) I’ve read there should be a drain hose that runs into the little triangle area. Does anyone have pictures of how or where the hose connects to on the top of the window? I have a hardtop if that helps. Thanks.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
