As long as I can separate them without breaking any haha.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;To confirm...where / how&amp;nbsp;did you actually mate up the front under panels. I didn't think that they would reach.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;Thank you for the reply.&lt;br/&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/141016</link><pubDate>Sun, 11 Nov 2018 12:54:03 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Front Underbody Panel Attachments (Reddtarga)</title><description>I should also mention that without the proper mounting kit,&amp;nbsp;you may not be able to mate up the new lip properly to the lower part of the front bumper, and it may sag and distort over time.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;It is quite a while since I did this job on my own car, but I seem to remember that it did need a bit of coaxing to get it lined up OK, and there may have been a couple of the original plastic tabs broken.&lt;br/&gt;However, it did fit OK and still looks good after many years with no warping or sagging.&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br/&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/141009</link><pubDate>Sat, 10 Nov 2018 18:18:36 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Front Underbody Panel Attachments (Reddtarga)</title><description>I fitted the later front lip to my 90 model and used the original 2 piece underneath front panel/s that mated up to the new lip OK.&lt;br/&gt;You need that fitted for strength and stiffness, and can be removed independent of the lip.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;You will definitely need the aluminum later model mounting strip kit shown below (6 main pieces + fasteners) that is not used on the early lip.&lt;br/&gt;The front lip is also shown in the pic.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/download.axd?file=0;141007&amp;where=&amp;f=lip hardware.JPG" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;img class="attachImg" src="https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/download.axd?file=0;141007&amp;where=&amp;f=lip hardware.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/141007</link><pubDate>Sat, 10 Nov 2018 17:40:54 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Front Underbody Panel Attachments (mistar2)</title><description>I have a 1990 SW20 with the underbody panels attached normally.&lt;br/&gt;I wish to attach a Rev 3 OEM lip.&lt;br/&gt;Are&amp;nbsp;the attachment points&amp;nbsp;the same for the underbody with the Rev 3 front spoiler.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;If the attachments stay the same it means every time I need&amp;nbsp;to remove the underbody panel... I have to also take the Rev 3 lip off. PITA if that's the case. Wouldn't think there would be an attachment between the spoiler and body...would leave a gap of some sort.&lt;br/&gt;Are the underbody panels different on Rev 3 cars?&lt;br/&gt;Logically it would seem that the Rev 3 panels would have a deeper front edge&amp;nbsp;to be able to attached to the bottom of the OEM front spoiler.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;Can anyone enlighten me on what they have done with the Rev 1 panels when putting a later model front spoiler on a Rev 1 Mr2.&lt;br/&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/141002</link><pubDate>Fri, 09 Nov 2018 20:20:44 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
