How to tell which one with the engine in the car?
Check the bolt holes in the top cambelt cover (You'll need a mirror). The lower left bottom bolt is in a different spot.
Bottom cover goes with the hydraulic tensioner

I found a pic showing a comparison of the two Gen 2 3SGE NA head types.
The pic on the right of the hydraulic tensioner type also has 3 vernier pins on the cam gears for fine adjustment, while the spring type head on the left has only a single keyway and no fine adjustment.

I sorry don't have one for sale.
However when looking for a replacement head you need to know that with the Gen 2 3SGE (NA) motors there were two different heads used on them.
The difference between the two depends on which type of tensioner is used; spring type or hydraulic.
Each head has different tensioner mounting holes, so they are not interchangeable.

The motors that used the hydraulic tensioner also had the larger turbo oil pump, and the oil squirters in the block.
They also used a different top cam belt cover, but just about everything else on the motor is the same.

Want to buy - 3sge Gen 2 MR2 Head, 1990-1993.

Looking to buy immediately.

Located in Latrobe Valley - Victoria.

Let me know if you have a complete head or head minus camshafts.

Will consider complete engine if at the right price and was running before removal.
