Many auto electricians specialise in different aspects. Ritchie Auto Electrics in Monte St Springwood, multi-generation family business. The are the only auto electrician I found that had no issues in getting the parts or rebuilding, referred other guys there who found the same. Turn around is parts dependent but around a day (when out of the car).

Looking for an alternator for an SW20 Turbo mine has died and I can't wait around for it to be reconditioned unfortunately!

Need one with a round connector and postage or Pickup to Brisbane/Gold Coast.

Steve, these are a punish to find or recondition in Australia! If the person Tony mentioned could do it that would be good.

I ended up buying one from the US. I actually have an adapter plug (round > oval) and I have one that could do with a recondition (I say this because even the cores are becoming hard to find)

Steve, Richie Autoelectrics in Springwood had mine done in a day, $300 rebuilt.

An NA one will not fit turbo bracket, and is different spec anyway.
Also the OP needs to specify whether and oval or a round plug is needed.
