Just ordered mine through amayama, cost is less than second hand. The part number is on the back of the plastic trim towards the bottom. Toyodiy and/or few other parts websites will provide the superseded part number, have to confirm against your year and model.

If you want to make a post, you go into the section you want to post in (i.e. "MR2" --> "General MR2 Stuff") and then click New Thread or something. Once you've done that it'll appear in your 'your posts' section :)

Electric mirrors have 4 extra wires to cater for retract. Standard mirrors have 3 wires Black, White and red from memory. If the mirrors have tweeters fitted there is two extra wires.

That'd be great! I haven't been able to find one that is reasonably priced.. all are either US (wrong orientation) or upwards of $100 for a used one :(

I managed to find the correct power door window switch with fold in mirror switch so no longer looking for one.
I have never owned a car with folding mirrors before so some thing new to play with.
