Turbo assembly (5SGTE)

Hey guys, not mr2 specific but I know you guys are a wealth of knowledge.

So I'm assembling a Garrett supercore with a turbine housing and noticed the threads on the housing go all the way into the exhaust flow section. Do these bolts need sealant? I'm pretty sure they didn't have any on disassembly. Do they seal with expansion?
