(adamaw11)

Hey man, yeah thats me.
I've been gradually getting back onto the scene in the last year or so.

I think I remember you used to have a celica st162, then at one stage you had an ma70 with a 1jz??

Anyway, I'm aiming to get to the MTC in 2015, so I might get to catch up with some old friends then.

anyway good to hear from you.

RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!) (wiso)

Hey man, its cool to see your still kicking around. I think I got the right person, I met you at the Toyota Nationals in dubbo in 2003 and 2004, and maybe 2005.....

The first years you had a silvertop, then the next year you had a blacktop. Is this the right AdamAw11?
RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!) Its still considered a non-speed event. This was the first khanacross I've done, and it was great fun!

RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!) I'm looking forward to it, never having done a Khanacross before.

Plus I'm looking at doing the next downshift circuit and coffee
http://shop.downshiftaus.com/product/circuit-coffee-16-march

RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!) (adamaw11)

It now uses a US-spec clutch master

top one is Aus spec ~$185 from repco
bottom one is US spec ~$25 from TwosRUs - but unfortunately it wasn't a strait fit as its banjo fitting made a different angle, and require some re-bending of the clutch lines - there have been an easier way though.

I have also replaced the sway bar end links which stopped the front end rattle at long last.
a
These seem like they may have also improved handling response - lessened body roll slightly.

RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!) Might still understeer a bit at QR with the Azenis on the front, now that I have Nitto NT01 205/55/14 on the rear.

admittedly, the car is a little rough, but the focus is more about fun on the track and competition events.

RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!) (adamaw11)

Thanks Domma,
yeah, I'll probably go on another run a bit later in the year. I gotta get off my arse and earn some more money lol. - plus I gotta fix the valve stem seals, so it doesn't blow as much oil smoke.

thanks for all the comments guys.

Fredhoon: Engine bay temps and intake air temps aren't really that bad I think - they could be better though, but once the car is moving there is enough upwards flow through the engine bay to to keep it cool enough I believe.

RE: Adam's '88 ADM aw11 blacktop 20v (with vids!)
