After that (subject to cost) I'll hopefully do some suspension and power modifications.
Re: New member - new project (Carmikey)

Hi James,
What did you end up purchasing? any details etc?
New member - new project (jaycrab)

Hi guys
I been considering buying a SW20 for a bit of tinkering and weekend fun and have been casually browsing various classifieds for a while. I've recently owned an Mx5 which I sold for a more practical car, and have been itching for another toy.
Anyway, I had a look at a car on the weekend on a bit of a whim and ended up making an offer :0
It's a bit rough and has no real history, so it's a bit of a gamble... Time will tell if it was a good decision.

I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions once I get started. I'll get a garage thread going to track progress.

Exciting stuff<img src="https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/upfiles/smiley/s2.gif" alt="" data-smiley="" />
