FYI.

I was unable to secure a late model booster, but have the late model turbo brakes front and rear with a landcruiser 1" bore master cylinder on my standard booster.

It may not be as good as the newer booster but I'm happy with the feel, it is adequate.

Thanks guys, I now have a complete set of calipers on their way and a 1" bore brake master cylinder but still chasing a late model booster if anyone can help me out?

That's really helpful, thanks. I'm not having any luck finding any of this stuff though. :(

I called Toyota for a price on new calipers just as an option but they won't do anything unless I give them a vin number! Well, my vin number won't help... :(

If anyone can provide me with a vin number of a 94 or newer Turbo MR2 or a 94 or newer Bathurst edition NA I would be very grateful.

Better yet, someone tell me you have what I want at a reasonable price and end all of my woes. (well, this particular woe anyway) :)

FWIW, the SW20 boosters were updated after 11/91, and then with even more powerful ones after 11/93, so that might be the one to get for best pedal feel.
You may also know that with them you will need a separate 10 mm vacuum valve mounted in the engine bay.

That would be my preferred option, I would like to keep a factory balanced system in place.

Hey all, I'm chasing a brake upgrade for my 1990 MR2 NA.

Let me know what you have, I'm chasing a complete system of 4 x calipers and master cylinder. If the rotors are good then them too.

Ideally I would like a post 95 bathurst edition brakes but let me know what you have and how much you want for it.

Are you updating the booster too?
The later model ones are more powerful even though they may look the same.

I have a complete set of as new front and rear discs for 94+ if you are interested, I could possibly have a set of refurbished front calipers as well
