Since I&amp;#39;ve installed and removed it a few times without the tank installed and it&amp;#39;s much easier so it&amp;#39;s obvious the filler tubes are the biggest roadblock. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I kinda walked mine out slowly towards the pass side.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also worth a mention I run a Garrett turbo but still on the stock manifold with a turbo beanie so unsure if that creates more clearance. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It&amp;#39;s IMO easier than getting to the hose clamps on the vent chambery tubie thingo.</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/136684</link><pubDate>Tue, 08 Aug 2017 20:06:52 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Engine / Fire wall heat shield removal (Carmikey)</title><description>Does anyone know if you can remove the large heat shield without removing the turbo?&lt;br&gt;I've never attempted removal with the engine in before, but I'm current doing the old fuel pump change, eg. Tank drop.&lt;br&gt;I could probably get it out by bending it, but that's not what I want.
