On the longer one the is a solid black wire witch goes to the stock tachometer.</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/136608</link><pubDate>Sun, 30 Jul 2017 18:56:03 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Stock Tachometer Wiring (Randomity)</title><description>Hey everyone,&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;I'm currently undergoing a Coil on Plug conversion to my Gen 2 3S-GTE, Sorting out the wiring tomorrow.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;As far as I'm aware, the stock tacho is wired to the dizzy and igniter, which I will no longer be using given they're sitting on the garage floor, never to return, and so the tacho won't work either&lt;br/&gt;I'm running a Link G4+, so I have plenty of auxiliary in/outputs to work with.&lt;br/&gt;Does anyone know of a way to wire the stock tacho to the ECU so i can still have signal going to it to keep a working tacho?&lt;br/&gt;Even just what wire is used for signal will be a good starting point&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;I know the stock one isn't the most accurate, but i much prefer the look of the stock cluster over going an aftermarket option.&lt;br/&gt;If there's a decent aftermarket options that could work too, but would like to retain the OEM look inside.&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;Cheers in advance!&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br/&gt;</description><link>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/136598</link><pubDate>Sat, 29 Jul 2017 20:30:17 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
