It usually occurs when either the tune is no good, or when theres a vacuum leak.

With the tune being no good, it says 'oh no im running to lean' and puts some more fuel and raises the idle, then thinks 'oh no im too rich' and lowers it.
Re: High idle aftermarket ECU (attycuz)

Carmikey

Does the idle bounce around our fluctuate?

Sent from my SM-J320ZN using Tapatalk

I would say bounces more often then settles

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Re: (Carmikey)

Does the idle bounce around or fluctuate?

Sent from my SM-J320ZN using Tapatalk

High idle aftermarket ECU (attycuz)

Hey guys!

I have a 1990 turbo and it has a high idle on start (around 2200rpm) once it warms it drops to around 1500rpm but at times also goes up and down between 1000rpm and 1500rpm.

I'm not that good on engines but I don't think it's a leak as I'm boosting around 8psi (not sure if this is normal or not). I do have a piggybacked EMS Stinger ecu so not sure if it just needs a tune or not? Any ideas?

Does anyone know anyone that can tune cheap? Can't really afford a full tune at the moment.

Thanks

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
