Hey everyone,

Long time lover, first time poster.

I am checking out an AW11 tomorrow, and I am hoping that I can take it home with me. With the age of the car however, I know that there are definitely some things I need to be looking out for.

So far, all I know about the car is:
- It has roughly 290'000km's on it.
- It will be registerable in a week or two.

What are the common problems AW11's face? So far, I am aware of the alternator issue, where water flow was not very well directed, as well as the side rails being prone to rust.

Anything else (specific to the AW11 or general things to look for)? I don't want my first MR2 experience to be sour.
