Recently I've been thinking my windows are slow compared to other vehicles. I can't remember them just all of a sudden being slower than normal over the years though.

My Honda windows operate with 'conviction' compared to the mr2s 'I'll give it a go' presentation.

Re: (Sw2091)

Fixed the problem. It would start and then quickly slow as the shaft turned and heated up. After fruitlessly Looking for a replacement, for what looked like a common motor, I talked to the guys at http://www.hobbyhabit.com.au/view/page/1.html, and it was suggested running it in some solvent. As suggested I used isopropyl alcohol with water and that cleared it, without starting a fire.. YMMV
Drivers side power window problem (Sw2091)

The window on my drivers side door has halved the speed it used to go up and down and makes a growling noise and doesn't sound like it is missing gears.
