Has it always been like this or has I happened suddenly?

Might help to get some background info, like I changed this recently etc.

NA or a turbo cables are a different length and could will affect how the gearlever sits if the wrong ones are fitted as previously mentioned.
Turbo cables will have red and blue bands at the gearshift end under the center console.
NA will be green and white (maybe silver)

Sounds like it has wrong shift cables installed.
There is a little bit of adjustment that can be done but not that much.

Shifter sits forward (Sw2091)

My shifter sids forward and in 1st 3rd and 5th it makes contact with the plastic trim and in 2nd 4th and reverse it sits where it normally would for reverse. How can I fix this. Cheers
