Turbo engine.<br/>Inlet cam lobe height from heel to lobe tip mics up at 41.50 mm.<br/>My genuine Toyota printed workshop manual states that "Standard cam lobe height"<br/>Intake. 42.610 - 42.710 mm. with Minimum of 42.50 mm.<br/>I have measured 4 sets of cams now. Both Gen 2. and Gen 3. All mic up about the same.<br/>None of them measure up as stated in the workshop manual.<br/>They are all in excellent condition with no appreciable wear or deterioration.<br/>They all have the same number cast into them. 88362.<br/>There is a significant difference in the calculated lift between Gen 2. and Gen 3.<br/>Does anyone know if Gen 3. inlet lobe height should be 42.6 - 42.7 mm.???<br/>If anyone can throw some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.<br/>Thanks.<br/>https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/FindPost/134219Mon, 06 Feb 2017 11:44:38 GMT
