I got an event cancellation notice on Facebook.
Is this true or is it just being rescheduled?

Will there be seperate pricing for doing just 1 day? And will we need Cams licence or AASA ok?

And Steve- I did a 1.53 on the GP circuit before the engine swap! Haven't done a timed lap since then so don't know what it'll do now.

Yes Adrian, there will be single day options. There will be a limited number of spots available.
I think the A050 along with your driving had a lot to do with such a good time. Not possible with RSRR's.

It will be one day on the GP and one day on the Brabham which is the longer of the two.

The A050 are an extreme tyre!

Yes, its a very convenient location but it does lack the isolation of Wakefield which is attractive.
Times, depends on tyres and set up. A 1:58 is possible for a well set up SW with 110rwkw, lightened, decent sticky tyres. A 2:05 is a realistic time to aim for.
Last week I did a 1:55 on RSRR(235 rear/215 front)/BC coilovers(10kg rear/15kg front)/caster mod/150rwkw 3SGTE/stock brakes, red stuff pads/no weight reduction. A 1:52 is quite achievable.

MR2 Sydney Trackday Challenge (Admin)

Looking for an expression of interest for a 2 day trackday challenge at Sydney Motorsport Park.
This will be the second major MR2 track event in 2017 following the traditional location of Goulburn which is held in January.
Date to be confirmed within the month of June 2017.
Previous entrants of the MR2 Trackday Challenge (MTC) will receive a pre-order along with additional benefits.
MR2's will also have a pre-order after previous MTC entrants.
Everything which established and continues to make MTC such an appealing event for people fortunate enough to attend MTC at Wakefield Park over the previous four years will be maintained.
Day one will be conducted on the South circuit. A possible hill climb is to be confirmed which will allow for two disciplines to be operating at one time.
Day two will be the GP circuit incorporating time trials, regularity, passenger sessions, pit straight photoshoot.
Use of pit lane garages are included.
The accommodation package will be the motel directly across the road from the circuit. Accommodation pricing is $150 per night, twin share.
Entry fee to be confirmed. Estimates at $600 for two days.
