I have a pair of Rays wheels for sale. These are perfect for the track. Grab a second set of fronts so you can use semi slicks when you go to the track. 😎

It's a great spot you film from. a real different perspective compared to all the in car and pit wall stuff.

It's the only spot i found that had a clear view of the entire track. Up on the hill might be better, but it would be hard to get to when the track is in use.

Rick: I just watched your video of Eric's lap (turn 2 was good viewing), and during the video you mentioned how I backed off half way down the straight during my lap. I certainly did, and that was due to an issue that I'd been having during the entire event and I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Some people may have seen from the pit wall when I was shaking my head in frustration. It wasn't until I got back home that I found out about the broken main caps in my engine " />

Yeah, it is a great spot. I forgot that the camera picked up my comments when i was talking to others lol.
Unfortunately my video camera is over 10 years old, so even though it has a reasonable zoom, it's autofocus (particularly over long shots) is pretty poor and it has no image stabilization. I'd like to get a new one, but Wakefield is the only time I've used it in the past couple of years.
I do love looking back at the footage of the event - keeps me motivated for next year!
