Smallport gze pistons are pretty strong and cheap. Many people have run them sucessfully. Amimaya or mrp would be the places to buy them. Dont forget to order the ring set, as the rings dont come with the pistons.

As for rods, stock gze rods are pretty strong, otherwise you could spend $500 and pick up some spool conrods.

Does anyone know of any cheap good quality low comp (around 9.0:1) pistons and rods to suit a bigport?
dont want to go crazy spending big $$$ of cp's etc.
but planning a boosted build and want something a little better then stock.
and i am unsura whats been done to mine so id rather replace everything so i know.
