Fuel & speedo issues (Reno974)

Hi there having some issues with my MR2 SW20 after installing a Caldina 3SGE beams in it. The car start but cuts off after a few seconds, if fuel is injection directly in injector then it runs and eventually cuts off. Fuel gauge isn't working either. I've seen a few post on similar subject but no solution. Any ideas?
