Thanks Col! Designed and made by myself. I have been using it for $1 frozen cokes, can't get enough of them in this hot weather.

Hi Lumix,

Got mine today and a double thumbs up from me. Like the others I'm really impressed with the finish and fitment. I was concerned that it would slip but the rubber seems to hold it in place really well. I'll give it a go with a cold beverage (not beer) this weekend.

I take it you made these yourself? If you did, top marks!

Haha great idea , I'm sick of placing my coffee on the passenger seat and rapping my sweater around the cup so it doesn't tip , I wouldn't mind one actually

Just received mine, and it looks great.
Also, beautifully packed for shipping.

If I position it carefully, it doesn't hinder leg room.
With the small inside space available inside an MR2 it is perfect for the job, and stores easily.
A great design Joel.

Cup holders were posted last week for anybody following this thread. I still have a few remaining for anyone else that is interested.

I used mine to hold a milkshake today.

Give them an Acetone vapor bath to give them a smooth and glossy finish.

I honestly love the aesthetic of each layer and the matte finish ties into the interior so well. In earlier versions I tried the acetone vapor bath but didn't get good results. Either the edges got squished, clip deformed and while the surface was smooth to touch it looked rippled on the verticals. The best result I achieved was just to sand with 100-1200 grit and plastic polish for a nice sheen but the time invested was not worth it.
