That's what the removable T-tops are for. When hot, remove. 😂😂

Re: Whats this ? And why isnt anything connected to it ...? (sprigs)

Well in the first picture you posted that connector was already plugged into the A/C idle vavle. I'm guessing you unplugged it to get the hoses connected and forgot to plug it back in?

Re: Whats this ? And why isnt anything connected to it ...? (Reddtarga)

If the A/C is switched off the idle up valve should be closed if it is working properly. (which you could check)

My Gen 2 NA normally runs and idles fine, but if I disconnect the hose going to the intake manifold (post throttle) the motor will race, because it is the same as opening the throttle.
The other hose is pre throttle so it probably won't affect much if it is disconnected except let unfiltered air into the intake hose and ISC.

You have not indicated how well (or otherwise) the motor was running with the hoses disconnected.

Re: Whats this ? And why isnt anything connected to it ...? (sprigs)

The a/c idle up valve raises your idle rpm when A/C is turned on, but if its faulty it could explain why the hoses were blocked off.

Re: Whats this ? And why isnt anything connected to it ...? (Reddtarga)

That's right it's the A/C idle up control.
One hose goes to a 'T' connection that goes to the the intake hose, and the other goes to the top of the
intake manifold (the one closest to the bulkhead).
Looks like you have the hoses sitting there anyway. Are they just not connected?

Re: Whats this ?
