Wait where? That's ****ed. Was quoted $109 by toyota in osborne park WA (albeit 6 week wait and ordered from japan) for the same part. In the end I went with the aftermarket thicker ones that were a bit cheaper. No issues.

Where did you source the aftermarket parts?

Found thanks. Sourced oem by Amayama $97. Via Toyota Australia was quoted $215 trade.

Am seeking new parts . I may have the wrong description or part number. It is the actual tie rod. Have attached pic of part required. Any clarification appreciated. Found some diagrams. Part I require is 45503 . Will try Toyota Australia first

Tie rods or track rod ends as they're to in the UK are readily available new, I certainly wouldn't consider using a used one.

SW20 Wanted to Buy Part 45047-19075 END SUB-ASSY, TIE ROD, LHand for manual steering rack.

DIY wheel alignment at home today threw up a bent tie rod end.
Somewhat disappointing as this car has had numerous professional wheel alignments and no one has mentioned the bent tie rod end.
Had a spare power steering rack but the tie rod ends are thinner and different thread on the inner ends than the manual rack.

Looking for used in good condition or suggestions as to where I can purchase new.
