I have had a similar problem. Turned out to be the coil.
Make sure you have spark at the spark plug first. That is a good strong spark!
If you do, next.
Make sure you have fuel (pump working and filter not blocked).
From there if it is still not starting.. perhaps something a bit more tedious.

Hi my 92 mr2 turbo wont start checked error codes and came up with 35 turbo presure meter i wanted to know if this had anything to do with the car not starting? Has anyone else had a similar problem ? Thanks
