Less than $10 at your electrical store like jay car, and a little soldering. Lots of online write ups for how it's done.

SPEEDO IS ERRATIC AFTER 120KMH (mattybro)

Hey guys, I am new to owning MR2s' and have recently got a sweet 95 GTS Turbo Rev 4. When I am on the highway and it goes past say 120kmh, the speedo needle will bounce between where the current speed is and 180, 190kmh+ and continue to do this until you drop to about 110kmh. It doesn't do it all the time but it is becoming a pain in the butt. Do you guys who know these cars think it is the actual cluster or the VSS itself??? And if it is the VSS I have heard this is located in the gearbox, is it a mongrel of a job to change. Thanks heaps for your help.
