Here are some pics without the wing. More coming soon!

Car actually drives better with the new wheels.... steering is lighter too. very strange but happy with the outcome.

Front will come down lower when I have time to remove the urethane lip on the front

Re: (Eric)

225/45/15 as it is only 6mm different to stock

Re: (Mrskylighter)

Those rims look awesome! My mate drilled the barrels for me whilst I assembled them, then sealed them. He's such a legend! Here is a teaser pic. The new rim is the one in the back in the photo

They turned out really well. Rears are 9.25 inches wide now. not sure on the offset but they are designed to fit perfectly in the flares.

Tyres tommorow then on the car. Wohoo!
Re: (Eric)

Well, good news for Erin. I brokered a deal on an AE101 4AGZE long motor. No supercharger or manifolds. This is going to have a T25 strapped on with an aftermarket computer.

Erin dosn't have a specific power figure in mind, but I would like it to make close to 150KW at the wheels.

Mrskylighter
Looking good! Can you please let me know how much it ends up costing to have wider outer lips put on the pair of wheels? I'd like to put my rear Equip 03s on the front and have the fronts widened by about 2 inches for the rear.

They make the barrels for $180 each to whatever size you want. The wait time is 6-8 weeks, or in our case longer. They make wheels for the V8 Supercar teams so it can take a while though...

The difficulty with the work equips is that most are welded 3 piece wheels. We had to cut the front lips off with a grinder then put the rims on a lathe to get back to the mating surface
Re: (Mrskylighter)

Looking good! Her car used to be covered in "Girl driven",etc. stickers

Makes me happy to see where it's come to since then - such a clean ride. Just pls keep it away from me during cruises, I can't deal with any more gunshot-esque exhaust pops.
