Just to add what a great day today was out to queen mary falls. Big thanks to dvs danny for being a mad run manager and coming up with all the directions and linked up roads. I really appreciate your time and effort on this one mate, you do the club proud.
Couple of standouts for me today was the growing numbers of cars and people able to make the runs each month so far this year.
keep putting effort into your cars everyone, just keeping them on the road seems half the battle.. impressed to see Eric and Nelson with their recent engine swaps, Danny with brakes that now work, ryan with his enthusiasm and an sdub coming, zac and vic in the spyder with an sdub respray, wil with his newly enhanced sc adub, dave with the pristine white sdub, jaimie and the burnt orange beast sdub, roger with the best modified sdub instead of that 1.3L twin turbo thing :-), great to see doug, tony and dori at the start line, i think i may have missed a few but im generally stoked with the sweeping turns and tight hairpins we soaked up.

Another delightful day in good company.

Thank you Danny for finding a lovely collection of roads for us to experience.
The weather was nice and held off. I enjoyed running over the mountain with the trees and mist, it was just cool.
Our trip home was delayed as we got caught in a traffic jam on Ipswich Motorway for over an hour and a half. Just got to the party in time to say goodbye to everyone. I must have had fun today as Kaylene said the tyres made more noise than she did.

Thanks again for an enjoyable day and let’s do it again next month.

Everyone please note the departure time has been changed to 8:00am allowing extra time to get home an watch the F1's with a local start time of 3pm our expected finish time in Beaudesert will be 1:30pm.

Sorry I can't make this run :(. Engagement party to attend that afternoon.

Also for those attending - be mindful of ticks at Queen Mary Falls. One hitched a ride home on the back of my neck on a previous run.
