Had such a good time at the QLD nationals. Looking forward to Adelaide. Never been to SA.

The email above is now working. We have only 12 months to plan this if it is to go ahead. Rikkir is the only one (much appreciated - thanks Rick) to show any interest in helping to put this event together. It won't happen by itself.

Unless we get SA input the MR2 Nationals 2017 in Adelaide will be organised by Redmr2red in Melbourne and Rikkir in Ceduna or cancelled altogether!!!!

At present we have the National Motor museum at Birdwood for the Show n Shine and the new Racing circuit at Tailem Bend for our Track Day (pending completion in August) on the Monday.

The Date (still to be confirmed) is late September early October 2017. With 2nd October a Public Holiday it is also the beginning of the school holidays, so perhaps Friday 22nd September to Monday 25th might be preferable. Thoughts?

We are also looking to confirm a base Motel for the MR2 Nationals 2017. It needs to cater for a minimum of 20 couples with a Nationals dinner venue close by.

Following on from the huge success that was the MR2 Nationals 2015 in Brisbane, the time has come to begin planning this event. The MR2 Nationals 2017 in Adelaide. We need 3 or 4 MR2 Owners to be part of the planning committee to bring this about.

We need ASAP

1. A date to take in the best weather SA has to offer, perhaps to coincide with a Shannons (or similar) Jap Show n Shine.
2. A location for MR2 Nationals headquarters. A motel/conference venue to cater for around 80 people.

We then have 12 months plus to plan

1. A Show n Shine
2. A MR2 Nationals Dinner
3. A Sunday Cruise
4. An MR2 only Trackday (we sort of have this in hand, more details as they are confirmed)

I have 2 SA MR2 owners who expressed an interest in assisting, could they please contact me again by email at nationals@mr2club.com.au

All ideas welcome here, however planning will be by the Planning Committee by email off Forum.
