Nice! I got a sprung 6 puck from Clutchmasters and it just has a TOB in the box with no markings/part#'s so I think its safe to assume its generic :(

FYI I just picked up my Exedy HD Clutch, it came with an OEM bearing. With the newer Toyota part number and all.

Mine is a 1994 turbo gen3.I haven't installed it yet. Just bought it for when ever I decide to get the clutch changed out.

Kinda scared me there with the dates, but a quick google search lead me to the site below.
In which the part 31230-20190 is superseded to -20191.

So there are two parts listed:

31230-20191 - 11.1998 - 08.1999
31230-20190 - 12.1989 - 11.1998

The dates listed are for production runs so both might work. Sprigs what year MR2 did you put your TO bearing in?

NPC asked me the same thing when I was getting quotes. I haven't been able to find much info about what applications the different forks were used for though.

I've just bought an Exedy Clutch kit, and they specifically asked if it had a cast or pressed steel release fork.
I assume because the release bearing is different.

I could only imagine the pressed steel forks aren't common, I've got two gearboxes and both are cast iron.

I bought one earlier this year from Amayama parts.
Part no 31230-20191.
Pretty sure it's the same part used across the e153 revisions.

I'm looking to install a new clutch and the consensus seems to be not to use the aftermarket throw out bearings in the clutch kits and instead use a new OEM throw out bearing.

Does anybody now the part number for a throw out bearing to suit a 1991 Turbo LSD gearbox?
