Thanks for the info
The plastic nut thing is the bit that I couldn't shift.
It is turning but not coming undone - feels like something is going to break.
I have ended up masking it off and painting around it.
Primer is down and the colour and clear-coat will be going down on the weekend.

hi mate, you gotta undo it from the catch end inside the cabin and pull through the grommet into boot area. undo the nut thing in the fuel cap space and pull it out there.

been a few months and a few home brews since i did one, but prity sure that's how it went. :D

I am in the process of repainting the adub and have got the body stripped bare. The only thing I can't work out is how to remove the fuel door release.
I can just get a finger on the back of the release mech but I need another elbow to get a proper hold of it.
Has anyone got any clues about how to get it out?
There is nothing in the BGB about how to get it off.
