What a fun day (Adrian)

Probably doing the swap mid-late Jan after the track day challenge.

Awesome video BTW. Great driving and looks like you're having fun! One thing I could suggest is really using every bit of the track and driving out right to the edge. And on turn 5 - the 3rd gear right and left, you can turn in earlier and run right out onto the exit road on the right. Hold more speed and you feel really cool doing it!

https://youtu.be/ghtDge22NKs

Re: My first track day video. What a fun day (Danti)

ashtwo

I'd say v6 if you want to stay n/a,but any swap will cost a fair few $

Perhaps take a look at some of the 1mz / 3vz / 5vz swaps and see how much that sets you back. You will get a lot more torque than a beams which will help with corner exit acceleration. The 1mz is alloy block so imo that would be the best choice for a cheap n/a swap. 2free is even better but that's going to be at least 6k +

V6 swap would be nice but $$$ will be way over.
I think I'll have to try to get the most out of my 3k for NA power.
Turbo swap will cost more 3 k too. I think.

Not sure if 3k could get me Cam exhaust and headers new clutch and some labour.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: My first track day video. What a fun day (rikkir)

I feel it was worth it because of the unique character of the Beams. You really have to drive it to get the most out of it. A V6 would probably be more cost effective though.

Re: My first track day video.
