Depends on the car really.. I know I can't afford a 2GR.. But I know I can afford a 3VZ and I will consider a 1MZ.
I have a good idea when it comes to V6 swapped prices, from the old/heavy 3VZ to the advanced S/C 2GR, Registered vs. Unregistered, and engineered vs. non engineered.
This year alone: I sold my non engineered 3VZ, "negotiated" an engineered S/C 1MZ, discussed a non-engineered N/A 2GR, bought an engineered S/C 2GR, and just missed out on a non-engineered 3VZ.

I'm seriously considering (more like itching for) a V6 SW20 as comfortable Targa Top daily/weekend car. (My S/C 2GR is staying a track toy)

I prefer a 3VZ (or 1MZ) as there's no way I can afford another 2GR. (will consider half finished swaps too)

Location doesn't matter too much.
