Yes, thanks to John for organizing & to Gordon for stopping to take scenic pics while I caught up a bit. I had a great day. The Mountain did not disappoint. So much different that what it looks like on the telly. A nice strong short black coffee & a cherry ripe was enough caffeine to make the trip home easy.

This was Cait and my first cruise with the club and we had an enjoyable day. Would like to thank John (and anyone else who helped) for organising the cruise, it was nice to see the country side and travel some nice roads. It was great to meet some new faces and catch up with some old ones (Simon).
This was the maiden voyage for the V6 after buying it the day before the cruise and it sailed along very well (10.8KM/L while hussling to Globe. On the way home it was closer to 12KM/L when we just cruised on the open roads). Unfortunately to a rather bad series of pot holes in the road on the way to Lithgow (Not on the cruise, but the way home for us) it has now developed a few additional knocks and thumps.

I know Nik-Lee is planning on coming. Anyone else from Newy??
We probably should arrange a meeting place here to travel to Warkworth together. I was thinking maybe Wallsend Plaza & just head up the link road to the New Freeway. Leave there around 9ish??

Just past Wallaby Scrub Road on the right hand side there is a park area with a lot more room to get off the road which might be better.

Attention Novacastrians...
I just asked John and he said he won't actually go to Denman.
If you want to meet in that area instead of the initial meeting point, he said the best option is to meet at Warkworth on the Golden Hwy at 10am.

any particular spot? According to google maps, it looks like there is a decent spot to stop at the corner of Wallaby Scrub Road.

Sorry guys I'm out for this one now.
The coilovers and suspension bits I had on order for Olivia's Audi arrived today and Olivia is not on call this weekend so I will be taking advantage of that to fit it all.
