Yeah gonna do it tonight... hopefully the boost gauge starts working... if not I have new gauage and boost controller ready to go

Ah I think you're right... it's located just under and near the intake manifold... I have a boost gauge but it's not working... lights are on but not working... I saw the hose for the boost gausge unplugged in the engine bay... it must be for that

I think capping it was a good idea. Kinda hard to tell exactly where it is from the pic.
Is your car a turbo? If it is the previous owner may have added a boost gauge via that tee piece.

Describe what the two ends on the tee piece hoses connect to if you can. Or take another pic.

I noticed hissing coming from this hose type connection but cannot see any loose hose... I've cut a piece of hose and plugged it off... Anyone know what it is and why it was unplugged and where me plugging is the right move?
