Thank you to all that came along on the run to O'Reillys yesterday it was an excellent turnout with 15 cars in total between AW11, SW20 and ZZW30. This was especially good considering the earlier start time to normal which we may consider doing again in the future, this also meant mostly clear roads to enjoy the twisties before they got busy and was a good opportunity for co-drivers taking in the scenic views of the gold coast hinterland.

For those who have any recommendations for the 2016 calendar please send me a PM myself as it would be great to hear any views from other members and see if we can accommodate.

Wonderful weather for a Sunday drive – thanks go to Danny for organising a great run, glad to see you kept the straights to a minimum. Good roll up of cars, welcome to the newbies. Hope you enjoyed the day, we look forward to seeing you again soon. We had great views from the rear of the line up with some awesome sights of cars winding through corners. On the way home we stopped at Canungra to have a look around (finally – says Mrs Scope) as we have only driven through before. See you all next run.

I ran back to the GC with Ben and a few others so I'm not sure what happened regarding the cop situation..

But it was an awesome day, my girlfriend and I had a blast. Felt very welcomed, and it was nice to meet new people as well as put some names to faces from the forums. Can't wait for the next one! Took a few photos (I'll upload them in my ride thread) but they're only phone quality so not the best

SO whats the end result.... any damage .... strangely met up with a few on the run back from the gold coast - how much did the copper get the white mr2 for...

Also don't know if I remember correctly but if O'Reillys is that bird sanctuary.. no point cleaning the car beforehand haha

Edit: 50/50 chance of coming, mrs caught the flu yesterday and doesn't look like she'll recover by the morning

Don't know where my head was at, but I'm more than likely coming. Mrs looks better but we'll see. Wouldn't wanna get anyone else sick

Also I might bring a mate of mine who drives an MR2. He's not a forum member at the moment but he might join up eventually
