The colour did nothing for me either, especially on an 80's car.

IMO 120rwkw is incredibly high for an ae101 GZE. they'll be within 100-110 no worries and slightly higher with a massive overboost pulley, but cracking 120 is a very tall ask on a stock motor. Aftermarket ECU and upgraded intercooler/intake and fuel delivery would be what it needs.
Re: WTB - AW11 - preferably NSW (kik27)

feral4mr2
this would make for a neat ride...

Yep, that's the one I was referring to in OP, but forgot to link.

I'm checking it out tomorrow as it'll be at ToyotaFest, though not keen on the colour.

Re: WTB - AW11 - preferably NSW (feral4mr2)

this would make for a neat ride...

http://www.gumtree.com.au...ta-mr2-aw11/1090663044
Re: WTB - AW11 - preferably NSW (maj)

You need to source clutch hardlines, manual front/rear engine mounts on top of the usual pedal swap and shifter assembly. It's do-able but you basically need a manual wreck to use as the donor.

Also since I've just been through the effort of sourcing a new auto box, isn't really worthwhile. You can electronically control the Auto but being a slushbox don't expect DSG-like blipped downshifts.

Best of luck in your search.
Re: WTB - AW11 - preferably NSW (kik27)

Thanks Maj,
I know they're hard to come but, but hey, maybe someone needs money for a deposit on a home!
I'm definitely after a manual, but not sure it if it's a straight forward conversion form auto, maybe someone can chime in?

Cheers for the response.

Re: WTB - AW11 - preferably NSW (maj)

Good luck finding an SC hardtop. They are the most desirable combo so owners tend to hold on to them.

My SC auto targa top will be on the market in the coming months. Can easily supply with an NSW blue slip.
The auto is very good on the streets and especially good for highway cruising (manuals sit at much higher rpm so you get tinnitus after a bit). Also fine for light track work but hey manuals are so much fun so really depends what you are after.
WTB - AW11 - preferably NSW (kik27)

Hi guys,

As the title suggests, just wanted to see if anyone has an AW11 out there that they may consider selling.

Preferably looking for a manual hardtop SC, but understand that there aren't a lot around.

Hoping for a NSW registered vehicle that's relatively clean/tastefully modified, not after a project car.

Only complete one I can see at the moment is this one but I'm not wild about the paint:

Thanks guys <img src="https://www.classic-ford.org/mr2/mr2play/upfiles/smiley/s1.gif" alt="" data-smiley="" />

Marko
